Position: Workshop Controller
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours

What does the role entail?
* Process and support the operational workflow to ensure a safe and efficient workshop operation.
* Manage the day-to-day processing of work and WIP.
* Assign job sheets to technicians and cross-reference job times with Autodata.
* Control the management of aged WIP to ensure customer SLAs are met.
* Liaise with Contracts Team leads regarding ELF requests and future planning requirements.
* Ensure processes are followed to optimize revenue opportunities and adhere to KPIs.
* Liaise with site stakeholders (e.g., Health & Safety, Facilities, Bodyshop) to support ad-hoc requests.
* Conduct ad-hoc jobs such as assisting with flat batteries, moving vehicles, road tests, and collecting parts.
* Learn customer requirements and assist with parts and the administration team.
What do we need from you?
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience, but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box - we're great at spotting talent and potential:
* Previous experience in a Controller/Technical or similar role is essential.
* Experience in the motor/automotive industry with Hyundai/Genesis brand knowledge is desirable.
* Qualified Technician (level 2 or higher) is essential.
* Good stakeholder and customer management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Comfortable answering and dealing with enquiries from the account and workshop teams.
* IT Literate - Comfortable using I test drive, BMS, Auto pad, and customer-related portals.
* Full driving licence is essential.
