As an ER Case Management Adviser, you will provide expert Employee Relations advice and support on people issues to all employees and managers across all business areas, working as part of the HR Case Management Team in the People Function, supporting a healthy and robust approach to performance management, sickness absence management and addressing misconduct This 6 month fixed term role is within the People community, which is responsible for supporting employees and managers in the business with any sort of people issues. What you'll be doing You will act as the first point of contact on all new cases raised by employees and managers relating to our Fair Treatment at work policies. Initially, you will triage each case based on the information provided, as well as background information to allocate to the right member of the wider HR Case Management team. Where appropriate you will also provide first line advice by MS Teams or email, providing timely, pragmatic and accurate guidance on people management issues, including poor performance, attendance and sickness absence, and misconduct concerns. You will help to ensure a fair, consistent and robust approach is adopted to performance management across the business to maximise performance outputs and focus on our strategic drivers. You will also advise and support employees and managers with the Resolution Framework, promoting early and appropriate resolution to all workplace disputes and conflict. You will also build and maintain effective working relationships with key People Function and business stakeholders. About you Essential measurable experience: Either generalist HR/ER or people management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business Excellent customer service skills with demonstrable experience of providing advice over the phone and via MS Teams The ability and a passion to coach employees and managers on People Policy and face into challenging issues The ability to influence across all levels along with excellent communication skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to balance workloads from different sources, and prioritise actions appropriately Experience of identifying trends, process improvements and proposing suitable solutions Our Customer First behaviours are all about putting customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
