Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
* Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
* Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
* Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy through professional development.
Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
