This role requires the post holder to provide an efficient and comprehensive clerical and administrative service for the Bassetlaw Local Mental Health Team.
You will work as part of a team of 7 providing clerical and administrative support, including reception duties such as monitoring patients and visitor attendance, dealing with telephone enquiries, and managing incoming mail.
This role is suited to someone with reception experience and confidence in handling calls and welcoming patients and visitors alike to the service.
Please note that this is a supernumerary role based within the Bassetlaw LMHT, with expectations to travel to other sites in the mid Nottinghamshire area, making no two days the same.
Main Duties of the Job
* Carry out all aspects of clerical and administrative support, maintaining healthcare records including computerized systems and databases.
* Reception duties including monitoring patient and visitor attendance, dealing with telephone enquiries and incoming mail.
* Receive and make internal and external telephone calls from staff, service users/patients, members of the public, and external agencies, ensuring that messages received are appropriately signposted and actioned.
* Type correspondence as required.
* Coordinate healthcare appointments for patients.
* Word process correspondence including letters, memos, and typing reports.
* Take notes/minutes at team meetings.
* File, photocopy, scan, and attach documents.
* Implement and maintain adequate filing and follow-up systems.
* Transfer individual and bulk files for archiving between locations.
* Input clinical data and maintain records.
* Identify health and safety practices that are appropriate to self and others.
* Participate in appropriate training courses and updates in accordance with mandatory requirements and undertake personal development plan 'My Annual Review'.
* Work as a team to provide cover for sickness and annual leave as required.
* Undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or willing to work towards
* Minimum OCR/RSA II typing/word processing or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
* ECDL or equivalent

* Excellent IT skills and knowledge of IT systems
* Excellent telephone manner
* SystmOne / RIO experience
