Amazon is seeking a talented, experienced and driven International PR Manager to join the International Campaigns team based in London, UK. Partnering with Amazon MGM Studios, partner studios and distributors, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing proactive communications and publicity campaigns for our original and licensed films and TV series across Prime Video international locales (outside US). You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with experience working with colleagues across multiple geographies.
Key job responsibilities
1. Development of centralized PR strategies and campaigns for Global (US and International/non-Eng language) films and TV series, across original and licensed title slate
2. Close collaboration with colleagues within Amazon MGM Studios, third-party studios and distributors to partner on the development and execution of PR campaigns
3. Close working relationships with Prime Video local country communications teams as well as marketing/social teams and a range of other business teams
4. Close oversight and delivery of core campaign development for the benefit of local country communications teams, including the development of press toolkits, overall management of international press junkets and international press tour stops, working in partnership with relevant teams
5. Liaison and collaboration with agency partners, to ensure excellent results delivered for business
6. Budget management and reporting
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experience in TV and/or Film International PR
3. Experience in developing successful and creative PR and communications campaigns
4. Experience of talent handling and talent relations including interactions with agents/reps
5. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including writing press releases, strategies and briefing documents
6. Experienced in issues management
7. Experience managing a current network of media and industry contacts in relevant sector(s)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Extensive experience in International Publicity/PR
2. Experience of managing events, premieres and screenings
3. Experience of managing International Press Junkets
4. Experience of managing International Talent tours/stops
5. Extensive experience of negotiation with talent agents/reps
