As a Junior National Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this exciting journey, working with a diverse portfolio of emerging and disruptive brands. Position Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Junior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for: Driving and delivering new business opportunities in the FMCG industry. Think, challenger brands and start-ups who need help launching and listing their exciting new products with UK customers in retail and foodservice. You will collaborate with your clients from a sales strategy and commercial perspective to ultimately gain listings with the desired retail market. Once a customer is secured you will be fully accountable for that account and manage the head office relationship, including the commercials (P&L, JBP’s and Forecasting). Your role will involve building strong relationships with multiple contacts (suppliers and buyers). Sometimes multiple brands with one buyer. Driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. Work innovatively and collaboratively internally to identify new opportunities. Good to know – Our client have their own back office support for all its clients. This includes warehouse space, distribution and customer services. This also includes category data. Who will be successful in this role? Someone currently managing multiple customers in the food or drink industry (field sales, regionally or nationally) who aspires to be a branded Grocery NAM or SNAM.
