Learning Support Assistant – Burrington C of E Primary School The governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring and caring Learning Support Assistant from February 2025 or sooner to join our vibrant and friendly school team. The post is permanent part time 16 hours (four days, Tuesday-Friday) 9:00-13:00 including cover for nursery during break and lunchtimes as well as supporting maths teaching in Key Stage 2. Burrington is a delightful four class rural primary school in the Mendip Hills. We are an inclusive Church School with a strong Christian ethos. We became part of a federation in November 2018 with Wrington Primary and we joined Lighthouse Schools’ Partnership in January 2023. The school was awarded a ‘good’ judgement in its most recent Ofsted (2017) and an ‘excellent’ judgement in SIAMS (2018). The post will be predominantly in Key Stage 2 and covering nursery (age 3-5) for lunchtimes.
