Job Title: Nursery Nurse Location: Cwmbran, Wales Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £83.85 per day Role Overview: As a Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with the school’s Early Years team to support the learning, development, and care of children in the nursery setting. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to children in the nursery setting. Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive). Observe and track children’s progress and development and provide feedback to parents and staff. Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development in a positive and nurturing manner. Promote a safe and inclusive environment, always ensuring children’s well-being. Work collaboratively with other staff members and contribute to the overall success of the school. Always follow health and safety regulations and policies. Essential Qualifications & Experience: A good understanding of early childhood development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, patient, and empathetic approach with children. Enhanced DBS check (we can help facilitate this if necessary). Desirable Skills: First Aid certification. Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an educational setting. Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
