Our client, a leading global engineering, repair, and logistics company is currently looking for an Inventory and Logistics Operator to join them on a permanent basis. The company provides innovative, cost-effective solutions to some of the world’s most recognised brands, offering support throughout the entire product life cycle — from design and customisation to repair, replacement, and refurbishment programs.
Role Overview:
The Inventory and Logistics Operator will play a key role in the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe transfer, receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, products, and documents. This role involves managing inventory through picking, packing, and accurate transactions using warehouse management software (WMS)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient work-flows.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring the correct items are identified and allocated appropriately.
Accurately pick and pack materials, ensuring proper labelling, re-boxing, and organisation.
Complete inventory audits and maintain accurate stock levels.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and power trucks, to move goods around the warehouse.
Provide exceptional customer service through timely and efficient handling of requests.
Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organised, following company safety standards.Required Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience with counterbalance or reach trucks is advantageous, though training is available.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, scanners, and Microsoft Excel.
A sound understanding of safe manual handling practices.
Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and procedures is a plus.Required Skills:

Keen attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and completing tasks.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
