Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Notice Processing Officer for our client, a local government organisation in Wembley. The successful candidate will assist the Notice Processing Manager in ensuring parking administration is carried out efficiently and effectively with prescribed timescales and service level agreements. This is initially a 4 month contract with the possibility to extend after that date. This role is hybrid working.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Providing advice and information on parking legislation to a wide range of customers, face to face and by phone.
* Maintaining filing systems and stock control for services provided.
* Compiling statistical data and completing records and spreadsheets, both manual and electronic.
* Drafting correspondence for the department as necessary, providing advice and information on parking legislation.
* Receiving and assessing parking permit applications in accordance with legislation and related regulations.
* Receiving and assessing applications for parking dispensations, suspensions, permits, vouchers, and badges.
* Receiving payments, issuing receipts, and carrying out daily bank reconciliations.
* Receiving, sorting, and distributing post for the Back-Office and entering correspondence and telephone inquiries into in-house computer systems.
* Assisting with special projects, such as implementing new controlled Parking Zones.
* Consulting and liaising with internal and external bodies on matters related to the area of responsibility.
Personal Requirements:
* Parking Notice Processing qualification – City and Guilds.
* Experience working on internal systems (e.g., Taranto).
* Knowledge of Parking Legislation (TMA, RTRA).
* Good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Working Hours: 36hrs / 8:00am - 4:00pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: £19.21 per hour
