The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions for Field Operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. The candidate will also help ensure adequate monitoring, logging, reporting, and alerting solutions are in place to achieve high system reliability.

This is a Work from Home position available from any US-based location.
The Main Responsibilities
1. Design and implement solutions on Salesforce Field Service (FSL) and the SFS Mobile App, ensuring alignment with telecom industry requirements.
2. Customize Field Service Lightning components, including Work Orders, Service Appointments, and Resource Schedules.
3. Develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
4. Integrate Salesforce Field Service with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven data models.
5. Optimize scheduling and routing configurations to meet telecom-specific field service needs.
6. Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, and deployment.
7. Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the SFS Mobile App.
8. Integrate apps with enterprise monitoring tools, support systems, and log platforms and build system health dashboards.
9. Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to plan, track, and code development tasks.
10. Work closely with business stakeholders to translate telecom field service requirements into technical specifications.
What We Look For in a Candidate
1. Four plus years of software development experience.
2. Three plus years of experience with SFDC toolkit (LWC, Visual force, Apex, S-controls, Triggers, Apex Data Loader, etc.).
3. Experience in developing SFDC Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Email Services, Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules and Approvals.
4. Experience with advanced Apex coding, Controllers, Triggers, Platform events, Permissions Sets, Profiles, Roles, Reports, Dashboards.
5. Excellent understanding of Salesforce.com SOQL, Web Services and security model.
6. Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases like Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB.
7. Experience with integrating Salesforce with other applications using Rest API, SOAP, Kafka.
8. Experience with practices like CI/CD, TDD etc.
9. Strong object-oriented design skills and experience using design patterns.
10. Working experience with Salesforce Field Service Cloud and Field Service Mobile App is a plus.
11. Salesforce developer certification is a plus.
12. Salesforce mobile app development is a plus.
13. Programming experience with any language like Java, .Net or Python is a plus.
14. Knowledge of SAFe Framework is a plus.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
1. $82,969.00 - $110,625.00 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
2. $87,117.00 - $116,156.00 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
3. $91,266.00 - $121,688.00 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
