We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Services Co-ordinator to join our award-winning business, in Rochdale. This role will initially be based on a 6 months fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, this is an office-based role involving processing sales orders, arranging transport, and completing shipping and export documentation for UK and European customers. Our Rochdale site specializes in the development, manufacture, and sale of agricultural, industrial, and food processing biocidal hygiene products, including cleaners and disinfectants.
What you’ll be doing:
* Processing of UK, European & Export Orders, and supporting those customers throughout the sales process.
* Preparation of documentation, bill of lading and commercial invoices.
* Keeping customers up to date on their orders or delays.
* Liaison with Operations & Despatch Teams.
* Arranging collection and shipment of orders.
* Processing of proforma invoices and Letters of credit transactions.
* Receiving credit application agreements and working with the accounts department to ensure timely setup of new customer accounts.
* Liaising with the Accounts department to assist in resolving issues when customer accounts are placed on hold.
* Ensuring CRM database is updated and maintained with correct data for companies and contacts, including special pricing certification and GDPR.
* Reporting and logging any non-conformance or transit damages, entering customer complaints in Qpulse.
* Providing desk cover for customer service team including telephonist and reception.
* Effective communication and service to Territory Managers.
* Dealing with all customer queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing a high standard of customer service.
About you:
* Previous data entry / office administration experience.
* Experience with Sage, SAP or similar CRM database.
* Strives to deliver the highest level of service to the customer.
* Experience within a logistics or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
* High attention to detail and works effectively in a timely manner.
* Previous customer service experience is desirable.
