About Our Client
My client is a leading infrastructure business based in the West Midlands.
Job Description
1. Manage the procurement of subcontracting services
2. Maintain relationships with subcontractors
3. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
4. Work collaboratively with other departments on procurement matters
5. Negotiate contracts
6. Track and report on subcontractor performance
7. Identify opportunities for cost savings
8. Maintain procurement records and documentation.
The Successful Applicant
1. Previous procurement experience at Buyer level within the private sector
2. Strong negotiation skills
3. Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
4. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
5. Eager to learn and develop
6. Comfortable being in the office 3 days per week (able to work from home Monday & Fridays)

1. Salary paying up to £42,000 per annum depending on experience
2. A 10-month fixed term contract with a start date in April
