The Role:
Bower Grove is seeking a dedicated and innovative person to lead the development and management of the newly branded 'Hub' environment which will be part of the Bower Grove Connected Pathway. This pathway is designed for pupils who require bespoke learning in a holistic and nurturing environment. It is a space for pupils to learn important life skills, working on their ability to emotionally regulate for learning and be supported in social integration with others.
Bower Grove is seeking a confident individual with a positive attitude and an ability to be highly adaptable. Ideal candidates will have a professional and positive attitude towards supporting pupils on their journey through the connected pathway both on and off site.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. High levels of motivation, be energetic, and an enthusiastic person who is approachable and promotes positive relationships with high expectations.
2. An ability to manage pupil behaviour and a commitment to a high level of pastoral care.
3. Proven experience of working collaboratively with parents, community organisations, and stakeholders to support pupils with diverse and challenging needs.
4. A strong understanding of the needs of pupils who require alternative educational approaches, including those with special educational needs, behavioural challenges, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) issues.
5. An ability to manage multiple stakeholders and create individualized plans that foster pupil growth.
6. Experience in working with vulnerable or at-risk young people is highly desirable.
