We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic pharmacists to join our friendly pharmacy team, currently spread across our 2 acute sites, with a view to expanding into our 3rd site in Goole. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills, have variety and participate in quality improvement developments, as well as being part of a cohesive, friendly, and supportive team.
The successful candidates will provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services as members of our ward-based teams. This post provides an ideal opportunity for either newly qualified pharmacists looking for their first post in an acute hospital or for existing Band 6 pharmacists looking for experience working at a Band 7 level.

Main duties of the job
We are a successful, innovative and forward-thinking department, with patient care at the centre of our decision-making. Our Trust gives medicines management and medicines optimisation high priority. We have invested in a purpose-built, state of the art, aseptic unit. The pharmacy department has been successful in outsourcing outpatient dispensing, implementing electronic medicines management for all inpatient wards and rolled out electronic prescribing in our haematology and oncology service. Our next major objectives are to implement electronic prescribing for all our inpatient and outpatient ward areas.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* A vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
* Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience
Occupational Experience
* Demonstrates commitment to Continuing Professional Development
* Previous hospital Pharmacy experience
