About The Role
As FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the FP&A Director in coordinating the Group budget process and subsequent reporting. This position is integral to managing the reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for a critical function within the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that financial strategies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organisation, maintaining their commitment to excellence in financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with the Group budget process.
2. Prepare comprehensive reporting packs for budget holders and board members.
3. Conduct variance analysis and reporting, including detailed insights on key cost drivers.
4. Review and interrogate reporting submissions prior to the creation of board packs.
5. Develop new KPI reporting and metrics.
6. Analyse and communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
7. Produce and interpret complex financial models.
8. Ensure compliance with the financial schedule.
9. Assist in the creation of procedures, policies, and the overall governance implementation.
10. Perform ad hoc tasks related to Group budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
11. Prepare balance sheets and other financial documents as needed.
About You
12. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
13. Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
14. Strong technical accounting knowledge.
15. Proven capability to drive change and performance, identifying issues, and suggesting improvements.
16. Proficiency in Excel and various accounting software programs.
17. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
18. Ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
19. Inquisitive nature with a proactive approach.
20. Flexible, can-do attitude.
21. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
22. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
