Candidates will be assessed on the basis of appropriate relevant experience and qualifications and salary placed within the advertised scale.

East Lothian Children's Services has an exciting opportunity for a Social worker to join the Disability Team. The team is our specialist team working with children, young people, and their families, affected by complex and enduring disabilities. The team consists of a team leaders, 2 senior practitioners, social workers and family support workers and has dedicated administrative support.
The team is our specialist team working with children, young people, and their families affected by complex and enduring disabilities across East Lothian. The care at home crisis has resulted in some creative and innovative practice being developed, with the team undertaking all aspects of this work from referral, assessment, setting up and reviewing packages of support. The post holder will hold a caseload of children, young people with complex and enduring disabilities and be a key part of the team.
