At Teaching Personnel, we are passionate at what we do! We are responsible for supporting young people with a variety of different SEN and SEMH needs, and I am looking for educators in Ilford who are equally as passionate about teaching young people with their individual needs and interests in mind to bridge gaps in their learning!
Our 1:1 tuition roles support young people are aren’t currently accessing mainstream school and are waiting for a school placement. Our tuition is put in place to bridge gaps in their learning, help them learn life and social skills while aiming to re-engage them with school.
I am looking specifically for SEN specialists, experienced Educators who would be confident working with young people who have SEN needs. Some SEN needs that our young people have are:
* Autism (ASD)
* ADHD
* Global Development Delay
* ODD
So you will need to feel confident and comfortable supporting young people on a 1:1 with these needs!
As a tutor, you will need to …
* Be confident in creating resources in lines with the UK National Curriculum.
* Deliver stimulating resources to young people, which are tailored to their needs and interests.
* Be able to build a rapport with students.
* Write session reports about what was covered in sessions so that we can track the progress and content being covered.
* Have SEN/ SEMH experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
