About the job you’re considering
Capgemini is looking for an EMC Test Engineer able to conduct EMC testing for Defense and Aerospace products and ensure that products meet required EMC standards.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
To conduct EMC testing for Defense and Aerospace products and ensure that products meet required EMC standards.
Your skills and experience
1. Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing while ensuring test specifications are followed in the correct order.
2. Work closely with clients to understand points of focus on the testing and help investigate EMC test failures.
3. Engage with EMC test labs on behalf of clients to ensure timely closure of test schedules.
4. Formally log test setup, product conditions (before, during, and after test), and create and maintain clear test records.
5. Able to review EMC test results and provide a consolidated view to clients on the findings.
6. Coordinate and work with the testing team, helping to maintain the test facilities.
7. Regularly monitor test equipment and report anomalies or faults.
8. Familiarity with EMC testing equipment and standards for Defense and Aerospace.
9. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently while dealing with clients.
