Job summary Churchmere Medical Group is a rural 21,000 patient practice in Ellesmere and Whitchurch, within easy commute of Chester, Wrexham, Crewe and Shrewsbury areas. An exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner has arisen to join our team, either full time or part time. We are looking for a flexible and reliable nurse with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. You will have previous experience of telephone triage and assessment of minor illness/injury. The ability to independently prescribe would be desirable but not essential. Experience in chronic disease management as well as baby immunisations, cervical smears, dressings and injections is desirable however full training can be provided. The successful applicant will work across all sites and collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience. Main duties of the job The post holder is a caring, committed and experienced prescribing nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
