As a Peripatetic Care Home Clinical Lead, you'll be responsible for travelling across your region to develop the clinical skills in various care homes, helping Barchester Healthcare deliver the high-quality care and service they're known for. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you'll help implement action plans that ensure the residents' needs are met. You'll use your compassion and experience to help deliver clinical care to the high standards Barchester is known for, making sure their care is in line with all regulations. This includes implementing safeguarding policies and overseeing the creation of care plans. In this role, you'll use your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions, manage projects, and evolve care levels to ensure every resident's needs are met. You'll also be responsible for providing coaching, training, and mentoring to the team to keep them updated with the latest clinical developments and engage and inspire them.

ABOUT YOU
As Peripatetic Care Home Clinical Lead, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Experience of gerontology is important too, as well as a strong awareness of both clinical policy frameworks and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Dedicated and motivational, you'll enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, which you'll have demonstrated through successful clinical mentorship and performance management.
