DUTIES
Your duties as the Assistant Store Manager / Deputy Retail Manager include:
• Supporting Store Operations: Assist in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs efficiently and effectively
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to drive excellent performance
• Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
• Sales and Profitability: Assist the Store Manager in maximising sales and profitability through effective merchandising, stock control, and loss prevention strategies
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and security policies are adhered to, maintaining a safe environment for customers and colleagues alike
• Store Standards: Maintain high visual standards, ensuring the store is clean, organised, and welcoming to customers
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is essential, with some experience in a supervisory or team leader position preferred
• Strong Communication Skills: Able to engage, motivate, and develop team members effectively
• Results-Driven: Passionate about achieving sales targets and delivering excellent service
• Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to resolving challenges and improving processes
