About Me:
I am an 18 year old man who has autism. I currently live at home with my parents. I have been home educated for the duration of secondary school and am wanting to build up my confidence with support to access the community to take part in activities that I enjoy.
I have a love for Motor Sports and help my family run a team aswell as on line racing.
Description:
Reliable Personal Assistant required to support me to access the community taking part in meaningful activities to build up my confidence and engage with others. Support will also be required to transport me to my college 3 days per week once a report has been built up.
Applicants must be patient, helpful and caring, and be able to work in a discreet and confident manner and have a good sense of humour. Being flexible and able to work on your own initiative is also important.
Applicants must have the ability to transport me to ensure once a report is built up I can be supported to attend my college course.
I am a selective mute and will need to build up a rapport with any potential personal assistant over time.
Support will be required on Thursday’s and Friday’s during the day to support me with activities I enjoy such as motorsports and bowling hours to be confirmed and with a view in the future to transport me to my college course on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK with no criminal background. Post subject to DBS check.
