Area Sales Manager Forestry & Agricultural Machinery

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team, responsible for expanding our presence across Scotland in the forestry and agricultural machinery sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maximise sales opportunities, drive revenue growth, and develop both existing accounts and new business prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop sales of Yanmar and Magni machinery across Scotland, focusing on forestry and agricultural sectors.
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships.
* Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Work closely with the MDto analyse market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
* Provide expert advice and technical support to clients, ensuring they find the best solutions for their needs.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Key Requirements:
* Proven track record in sales, ideally within plant, forestry, or agricultural machinery sectors.
* Previous experience in plant sales, machinery rental, or related industries is highly desirable.
* Strong ability to develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
* Strong strategic planning and organisational abilities.
* Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
