In this role you will be working on a variety of IT, voice and system transformation projects and manage the delivery of services to clients from start up businesses to SME's across a 100 mile radius. If you're ready to take the next steps in your career, apply now In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Network Engineer qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Install and configure physical and virtual elements of a network through Cisco and Unify UDM. Configure hardware such as virtual firewalls, switches and routers. Upgrade network performance, looking into balancing it, configuring firewalls to update systems. Record the network systems performance on the ticketing system. Have access to and create Wi-Fi documents, network diagrams, client service plans, hardware directories and recovery plans for the clients network. Communicating with a range of stakeholders, including face to face site visits, email communications, phone calls or responding to networking tickets. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £18,000-£22,000 per annum. Monday to Friday 9am-4pm, overtime occasionally required. 20 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays Company events. Company pension scheme. Performance bonus, Christmas bonus and yearly bonus. Additional training and certifications available. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Ambitious and driven to build a career as a Network Engineer. Customer service experience would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. A background in IT, previous experience of a Level 3 Apprenticeship would beneficial. Knowledge of networks in IT. Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.
