This international food giantcurrently turnover 114 Billion pounds worldwide and operate out of 23 locations across theUK - this site has recently had a 38 Million pounds investment into second line doubling their production capacity.They also re-invest 80% of their profits back into the Business which means there will always be job security. They produce around 180,000 units an hour, the process is very automated and you will be working with state of the art machinery. This has led to exceptional staff retention within the maintenance team.
Some of the machinery you will be working on as a maintenance engineer includes; Ishidapackaging machines/multi-head weighers, Loma X-rays, GEA uni-mixers/formers (Morrell), steam cookers, fryers, spiral freezers, bagging machines, conveyors, V-Mags, Kuka wrappers, robots and more.
They are continuously investing and recently have added a £40,000 training rig with a PLC's, pneumatics, and other bits of machinery to help with training. This opportunity would suit someone who has the right attitude to learn and develop as an engineer.

Experience required for the Maintenance Engineer:
* Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in an electrical discipline - must be multi-skilled as a maintenance engineer
* At least 3 years experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased maintenance engineer within a factory environment
* PLC knowledge is not essential - this can be taught
