Salary: Grade 3, £14,416 - £14,874 per annum. £12.45 - £12.85 per hour
22.2 hours per week, working the full year.
Flexible Shift Pattern: Wednesday and Thursday 6.45 am to 2.45 pm
Friday 6.45 am to 1.58 pm

This part-time, permanent role represents an excellent opportunity to become part of our site team.
You will be part of a team that carries out general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment projects of the school building not requiring specialist contractors
Our school consists of 12 individual buildings and the site team move around the site responding to callouts and undertaking scheduled tasks in all weather conditions. Under the direction of the Senior Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality customer focused caretaking service to all site users.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible team player to join our dedicated and experienced caretaking team. The ability to work under own initiative and collaboratively with colleagues is essential along with a good working knowledge of premises Health & Safety. Previous experience of a school caretaking role is not essential but proven experience to carry out general repairs and maintenance is required.
It is a physically demanding role and would suit somebody who is active and enjoys variety. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Lowton Family and make a significant contribution to the school's continued success.
Key tasks include:
* Maintaining the security of the school premises and contents.
* Signing and escorting contractors and assist in fault diagnostics as required.
* Designated keyholder (not first responder).
* Delivering parcels and moving furniture.
* Undertaking routine maintenance, repairs and refurbishment projects not requiring a specialist contractor.
* Undertake regular inspections and record keeping.
* Assist with site H&S inspections and fire evacuations.
* Flexible approach to respond to radio callouts for unscheduled maintenance and porter support.
