Our client is seeking someone who is a nalytical with the ability to multi task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. You will be managing inbound deliveries to ensure cost effective and timely receipts of goods to meet the business requirements.

Job Role:
Ensuring correct shipping documents are sent to forwarders in time to generate correct Duty and VAT invoices
Ensuing Duty VAT are invoiced correctly and invoices are paid promptly to ensure on-time deliveries and to avoid demurrage
Validate freight invoices and rectify the problems
Understanding the trend of freight costs
Communicating with logistics providers to stay informed of the market changes
Liaising with logistics providers for the best possible rates for shipments from a portfolio of suppliers
Coordinating and scheduling inbound deliveries
Arranging quotes and schedules for containers
Troubleshooting shipping issues e.g. shipping routes, delayed items and rush orders
Reconcile and verify receiving documents including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading and etc
Updating shipment calendar
Preparing labels for Warehouse
Booking stock on system
Arranging deliveries of material/samples to suppliers overseas
Preparing GRN reports to Accounts each Friday
General office administration duties
Skills and experience:
Excellent administration skills
High attention to details with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
Hard-working and highly motivated
Flexible & able to follow instruction
Logistics knowledge (would be an advantage)
