The Role:
The Head of Technology will come on board to join an incredibly dedicated team of people, and help them to mature their processes to support the rapid growth of the business, and be heavily involved in a number of exciting, innovative transformation initiatives in a supporting role to the Head of Programmes. There is a huge focus on technology enabling the growth of the brand and its employees, as well as from the customers’ point of view, ensuring they receive a phenomenal experience whether in-store or online. This opportunity will enable you to upskill, and build out, the Technology function which currently stands at 20, whilst also building strong relationships with third-parties and suppliers.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
1. Proven and demonstrable experience within a Technology Leadership capacity, within the retail industry
2. Well-rounded Technology Leadership experience around areas including: Applications, Development, Service Delivery, IT Support, Infrastructure, Operations
3. Demonstrable experience in supporting technology and business transformation efforts
4. Experience of supporting the delivery of an ERP Platform and other technology solutions
5. Understanding of ERP technologies, Warehouse technologies, in-store technologies and networks, eCommerce Technologies and know-how around transitioning the business’ applications to Cloud technologies
6. Experience within a Multichannel or Omnichannel retail environment
7. Strong people-leadership skills and the ability to upskill existing team members, as well as experience in recruiting new team members effectively
