You’ll be working with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing both 1:1 support and small group interventions. Your work will be essential in helping to create a positive, structured environment where all children feel safe and supported.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours, preferably within a school setting.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage situations with patience and empathy.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals.
• A commitment to promoting inclusivity and ensuring all students are given the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individual behaviour plans and strategies.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Support the school’s ethos of inclusivity by promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
