The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Handler to become a vital part of our Liverpool team who are dedicated to providing professional advice and exceptional service to all clients.
Extensive training on our specific systems and processes will be given, but the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an Account Handler role.

Responsibilities:
5. Acquire and maintain knowledge of Insurance products to include Property Owners, Engineering, Contract All Risks, Terrorism, & Management Liability, plus other axillary insurance which many be required
6. Upon completion of training you will be assigned specific medium-sized portfolios, with an overall book of premiums under £3,000,000
7. Dealing with a book of renewals up to 600 policies
8. Develop and sustain effective working relationships with account executive and customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction as is reasonably possible
9. Building and maintaining relationships with insurers
10. Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards
11. Issuing and processing new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewals
12. Provide new business quotations and re-broking existing renewals
13. Face-to-face client meetings occasionally both inside and outside the office
14. Keeping accurate records always and filing in the agreed manner
15. Answering general queries competently by telephone, email, post or in person, ensuring the information provided is accurate
16. To attend any appropriate training courses given inside and outside the office
17. To complete and pass mandatory training modules set within the time given to remain compliant
18. Assisting the Managers and other members of the team
Experience:
19. Previous experience in an Account Handling role (Insurance) is required.
20. Client service and administrative experience, adhering to processes and systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, to support client service delivery.

24. An appetite to learn and develop successfully with an inquisitive nature and a willingness to ask questions
25. Basic understanding of the broking insurance market and the role of regulation and compliance.
26. Organised with good time management skills working to agreed priorities.
27. Good communication skills to effectively liaise with internal colleagues.
28. Computer literate with good experience of using MS Office Suite.
29. Minimum 5 GCSE, Grades A-C (9-5) including English and Maths.
