We are currently seeking a Deputy Site Manager to join the service operations at East Anglia ONE wind farm where you will be responsible for the delivery of the service and maintenance activities and for the leadership of the technician workforce. You will act as Site Manager when required and provide organisational support in all areas of people and process development and will ensure expertise is shared with and received from the wider team within Offshore Operations.
You will be expected to set objectives and deliver against agreed results that have a direct impact on the delivery of the overall Service and Maintenance contract at East Anglia ONE wind farm. You will be a safety leader and will ensure we live and deliver on our Zero Harm policy and commitments to keep our people safe whilst minimising the environmental impact of our operations.
You will be expected to liaise closely with the Operational organisation, Customer site representatives, Service Technology organization, EHS teams, Material Flow and Logistic teams, Procurement teams, Sub-Contractors, Back office planners, Maritime Assistance Service team, Quality Management team and Operations-Support.
This is a varied role where every single day will be different and will pose an interesting challenge.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
1. The deputy site manager coordinates all persons at site and manages the distribution of tasks in the team and keeps an overview of all tasks.
2. Ensure compliance at site with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards according to Siemens Gamesa and local requirements. Active safety leadership within the shift - ensure correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions.
3. Ensure appropriate resources are available to achieve site performance targets within budget. Maintain service and retrofit KPIs and ensure all tasks are being completed within relevant timescales.
4. Maintain and develop good working relationships with customer organization(s) and escalate issues to the Site Manager when appropriate.
5. Line management and performance management of shift staff in line with Siemens Gamesa processes. Monitor all sickness reporting and carry out all back to work interviews for all on-site personnel.
6. Ensure that the necessary infrastructure at site is available and processes are optimized.
7. Liaise with the customer to obtain work permissions and approval of Risk Assessment Method Statements.
8. Support the hiring process of technicians and take care for progress in developing technicians. Coach and develop the shift team.
9. Assist in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external customers. Assist in the creation of the site delivery plan.
10. Control and technical verification of SAP data and release hours booking on service orders.
What You Need To Make a Difference

* Experience within operational delivery at a site level, ideally in an offshore environment.
* A track record of supporting delivery and assisting operational leaders with developing and delivering their operational plans and commitments as part of a team that delivers a highly positive customer experience.
* Demonstrated line management experience and be used to working within a fast-paced environment.
This role will require the successful candidate to be permanently present in the Lowestoft Office.
