What you will be doing as the environmental advisor Communicating on all environmental compliance matters to employees at all levels within the organisation Identifying opportunities and projects that improve efficiencies of processes Maintaining environmental and energy management system requirements (ISO14001 and ISO50001) Conducting environmental audits and inspections and analysing and evaluating results Making recommendations or initiating actions to ensure that the organisation complies with all environmental regulations and standards Investigation of any environmental incidents including completion or verification incident reports Maintaining and analysing environmental records to identify and understand trends to initiate improvement activities. Deputise for the department manager when needed Keep up to date with proposed and actual changes in environmental regulations, so that adjustments to policies can be made in a timely manner What you will need to apply for the environmental advisor position Experience as an environmental advisor, environmental officer, or environmental engineer in a technical or manufacturing setting A degree level qualification in an environmental, scientific, or engineering discipline is highly desirable. Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards such as ISO:14001 What you will receive as the environmental advisor A salary of £35,000-£40,000(dependent on experience) pension, (matched up to 6%), Private Medical, etc. The working hours Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
