Job Summary:
We are off-licence/convenience store located on busy High street, seeking a Shop Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead a team of customer service staff. You will work closely with management to ensure efficient store operations, meet sales targets, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of customer service staff to ensure smooth store operations.
- Create and manage staff schedules to meet sales goals and maintain productivity.
- Work with management to resolve operational challenges and improve store performance.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet sales targets.
- Recommend staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Prepare and provide regular reports to management on sales and staff performance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and address any customer concerns promptly.
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in retail preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum education level of GCSEs, A levels or equivalent.
