They are looking for a QSHE Manager to join their team. The successful candidate must have experience within a similar role. You will be based at their Poole office, but this role will require you to travel to their other locations (South West only).
The company prides itself on their accreditations. In order to uphold these, it will be your responsibility to do the reporting once a week, maintain records, and be accountable. You will also need to be comfortable with reporting to the C.E.O and Directors quarterly; therefore, this is a key role within their business. You will be able to work under pressure, think clearly, act decisively, and possess good personal organizational skills. You will be a good listener with strong problem-solving skills and be a great communicator who is a team player.
Job Description
The successful QSHE Manager will:
* Have previous QSHE Managerial experience.
* Have a recognized safety and environmental qualification (diploma level or equivalent).
* Hold an auditor’s qualification and have experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 18001.
* Have a NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Level 3 – preferred.
* Have a NVQ Level 4/5 Occupational Safety and Health practice.
* Ideally have IMEA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment), although this is not essential.
Job duties for QSHE Manager:
* Maintain the management system and identify and implement initiatives to improve it, including all procedures and processes.
* Carry out and offer support/advice on Risk assessments, method statements & COSHH.
* Maintain quality, safety, and environmental systems, implement, audit, and update all associated documentation to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
* Monitor, audit, and report on QSHE performance and provide feedback and assurance to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Develop, maintain, and improve the business integrated Management system to underpin QSHE and operating standards.
* Maintain a risk register, reviewing QSHE risks and escalating where appropriate.
* Maintain a legal register to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QSHE standards.
* Implement and monitor emergency management plans across all sites and ensure a robust line of escalation exists.
