We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiasticPre-Assessment Nurses to work within our Pre–Assessment departmentat Rivers Hospital.
RiversHospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leadingproviders of NHS and private patients’ services in England. We arebased on the Herts & Essex boarder and is easily accessiblefrom London and the Home Counties. The hospital opened in 1992 andis equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis andtreatment, and has very high quality clinical standards. The Role
Thesuccessful Nurse will undertake pre-operative assessment ofpatients awaiting elective surgery across all specialities. The key focus is to ensure that patients are preparedphysically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure,ensuring appropriate information provision and identifyingpotential discharge concerns.
Whatyou’ll bring with you
• NMC Registration
• Specialised post-surgery experience preferred but notessential
• Excellent written andverbal communication skills
• Proven ability to act on own initiative withoutsupervision
