Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Music (Maternity Cover) to join a Grammar School based in Torbay.

An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational teacher and leader to join the team as Head of Music, to cover a maternity leave.
The Music department is a vibrant environment for students to learn music through both practical and theory. Students engage with music in various ways, whether through the curriculum at KS3 and KS4, individual music lessons given by specialist music teachers, or engaging with performance opportunities such as the annual Carol Service.
This a full-time maternity cover contract, starting in April 2025 (exact start date to be agreed with the successful candidate).
The salary for this role is MPS/UPS plus TLR 2A (£3,583).
