As an Offshore Manager, you will:
1. Represent the Project Execution Department and liaise with Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractor representatives as well as the Vessel Master.
2. Brief the client on operational capability and limitations.
3. Manage all activities related to the Scope of Work, including mobilisation and demobilisation.
4. Handle operations and emergency situations onboard, except for Marine emergencies.
5. Ensure that personnel under your control are working within constraints and towards the objectives of the Company.
6. Conduct regular project safety meetings and carry out safety reporting.
7. Ensure all personnel involved in operations are carrying out their appointed tasks.
8. Maintain that all equipment and spares are in satisfactory condition for efficient operations.
9. Review the number of spares held for forthcoming operations considering region of operation and duration of the project.
10. Issue a daily worksite report that reflects reporting requirements and operational procedures.
11. Review Project HIRA’s and RA’s.
12. Keep accurate records, prepare formal procedures, and delegate operational tasks to team and ship’s crew members.
13. Evaluate crew performance using the Appraisal and Competence Scheme as required.

Requirements
1. Degree level or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant discipline (desirable).
2. Supervisor certification.
3. Experience in Subsea Operations.
4. Demonstrable experience in an Offshore Supervisory position within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential.
5. Working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards.
6. Detailed knowledge of subsea operations using divers and/or ROVs.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems.
8. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
9. Excellent communicator with strong written and oral skills.
10. Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems with a pleasant and articulate manner.
11. Capable of discussing important issues at Senior Management Level.
12. Good organisational skills.
