Ignite Recruitment are currently seeking multiple Experienced Hand Barrow Street Cleaning Operatives for immediate start working for the local authority.
Morning shifts:
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
You will be responsible for covering planned daily routes around the Enfield Town Centre and surrounding areas.
Overview of the Hand Barrow Operative Role:
1. Maintain and operate a street barrow
2. Hand sweeping of pavements and footpaths and operate leaf blower equipment to aid with sweeper clearance
3. Collection and clearance of litter, leaves and other waste in designated areas, emptying litter and recycling bins
4. Collecting and removal of fly tipping
5. Undertake, working alone or part of a team, the cleansing of footpaths, pavements, and the local area
