Our client in Redditch is looking to expand their Accounts team by recruiting an Accounts Administrator. The role will involve supporting our finance team with the day-to-day running of the department, alongside accurate and timely processing of office and client accounts and other cashiering duties.
Accounts Administrator Key Day-to-Day Duties:
1. Processing client account payments
2. Preparing purchase ledger payments and remittances
3. Sending client account statements
4. Administration of monthly credit card transactions
5. Dealing with client queries
6. Processing weekly and monthly billing
7. Crediting credit notes
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Strong Administration skills
2. Some accounts experience would be an advantage and the desire to have a career in accounts
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Proficient with MS Office software (Word/Excel)
5. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate methodical attention to detail
6. Confidence in building long-term external relationships and communicating across all business levels
In return, you can expect to receive a basic salary of between £23,000-£24,000 depending on your skills and experience. The hours of work are 9-5pm Monday to Friday, and this is an office-based role with free parking.
