Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Subject Access Coordinator, with excellent attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, to join the Information Quality Assurance Team.
You will be required to action requests for records from Service Users, Solicitors, Police and Courts, which must be provided within a strict timeframe.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be responsible for the processing of subject access/access to health record requests, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times. This includes extracting relevant information from both electronic and paper records, along with redacting relevant information.
You will be responsible for managing the timescales for subject access requests, ensuring that they are completed within the legal timeframe, avoiding breaches.
You will be responsible for maintaining records of subject access/access to health records requests.

Experience Essential
* English Language/English Literature GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
* Experience of processing Subject Access Requests within a healthcare setting
* Experience of third-party redaction
* Extensive experience of office administration in a busy environment
* Good working knowledge of relevant national guidance and legislation, including redaction
* Experience of working to deadlines
* Experience of working for the NHS or a mental health setting
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Effective time management skills
* The ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent verbal and written skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to deal with large amounts of data

* DPA qualification
