We are looking for Full-Time Support Workers/Carers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support. Due to growth, we have several positions focused on supporting people to live in and be part of the local community. Our residential service is about helping people to get out in the community and make the most of their time at home.
Position: Full-Time Support Worker/Carers
Salary: £12.00 per hour.
Location: Hetton-Le-Hole, Houghton Le Spring (DH5 postcode). Drivers are preferred for this role.
Hours: Full-time: 36/48 hours per week available, days and night shifts on a rota basis (12 hour shifts) and there will be sleep-in shifts as well.

About our service
A residential service located in an attractive and peaceful setting, we can support up to 7 people with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, autism, and other complex care. For each person we support, an individual programme of activities is developed around their likes, needs, and hobbies including:
* Local walks
* Playing football
* Swimming
* Attending discos
* Bike riding
* Cinema trips

About you
Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity? You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. In addition, it is desirable to have:
* Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities and behaviors that challenge
* Hold or willing to work towards a Level 2 in Health & Social Care
* Hold a valid driver's license.

* General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
