Job Duties:
The Nursery Teacher in Croydon is responsible for planning and implementing a programme that adheres to the nursery's curriculum, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Duties include creating engaging lesson plans, assessing children's development, communicating with parents and carers, and maintaining a clean and organised classroom.
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience working in a nursery setting
3. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work well in a team
Education:
A relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nursery Teacher
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Understanding of child development
2. Ability to create a stimulating learning environment
3. Proficient in using various teaching methods and resources
4. Strong organisational skills
5. Patience and a caring nature
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Paediatric First Aid Certificate
2. Safeguarding Training Certification
Working Conditions:
The Nursery Teacher position in Croydon involves working with young children in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
