About the Role Our client is a leading main contractor specialising in high-end residential construction, with projects typically ranging from £2 million to £4.5 million in value. They are seeking a skilled and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take financial responsibility for some of the most prestigious and design-led homes in London and the surrounding areas. This role will involve managing all aspects of cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements. You’ll work closely with the project team to ensure financial control and reporting throughout the construction process, while maintaining the standards and attention to detail expected in the high-end residential sector. About the Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates must have: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-end residential projects, preferably with a main contractor. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration procedures. Experience managing budgets for projects in the £2M–£4.5M range. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and an understanding of luxury finishes and bespoke elements. Proficiency in cost reporting, subcontractor management, and value engineering. A relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field. You must be confident working independently and collaboratively, with a professional, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
