Position: Band 5 Neonatal Nurse
Location: Neonatal Unit, The Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley

Requirements:
1. You must have a live pin with the NMC UK.
2. You must be a registered nurse, registered child’s nurse, or registered midwife.
3. Experience in the field of Neonatal nursing is advantageous but not essential.
The shift pattern for this position is dayshift/nightshift rotation.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neonatal Nursing team within the Neonatal Unit. The Neonatal Unit provides Level 2 care to patients and their families and collaborates with other Neonatal Units in the region that provide Level 3 care.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for:
1. Assessment of care needs and the development of care programs.
2. Implementation and evaluation of these programs to ensure high-quality care delivery.
3. Providing cover in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse or deputy to ensure effective operation of the clinical area.
You must demonstrate:
1. A commitment to family-centred care and continuing professional development.
2. An understanding of our service and the specific needs of our patients and their families.
3. Evidence of ongoing clinical development and awareness of NHSGGC policies and strategies.
4. A sound clinical knowledge of medical conditions in neonatology (desirable).
5. The ability to organize and prioritize workload (essential).
