Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you have the skills to make a real difference in a child's early learning journey? Here at Prospero Teaching we are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (1:1 Role)
Location: Middleton
Start Date: 18/11/2024
Salary: £95 - £115 per day depending on experience
About the Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a child to support their individual learning and development needs. You will assist with daily classroom activities, encourage positive social interaction, and support the child's emotional and physical well-being. You'll help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where the child can thrive and reach their full potential.
SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a child EYFS.
Assist with classroom activities, ensuring that the child's needs are met.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to implement learning plans.
Support social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
Observe and report on the child's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS setting or 1:1 role.
A passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow.
Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
The ability to work as part of a team while also using your initiative.
A proactive attitude, flexible approach, and strong organisational skills.
Ideally, Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant Qualification, but not essential.
