Salary: £25,200 - £31,800

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Regulation Assistant within the Cambridge English Regulation team. The role will support our day-to-day engagement with UK regulators, primarily Ofqual, in relation to our regulated, globally delivered portfolio of qualifications.
About the role
As Regulation Assistant, you will support our day-to-day interactions with Ofqual and other regulators within the UK. You will work alongside the Regulation Manager and Head of Regulation to support regulatory compliance across Cambridge English, helping to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and general quality of communications and submissions to the regulators.
You will be responsible for:
* Drafting, submitting and logging notifications to Ofqual.
* Compiling routine reports and responding to regulatory queries.
* Managing the Regulation inbox, monitoring and responding to internal queries and requests for information relating to regulatory compliance.
* Working with colleagues in the Regulation team to raise awareness of requirements, including supporting with the preparation of internal campaigns and training materials.
* Acting as SharePoint champion for the team, ensuring that documents and working instructions are filed and updated according to quality management guidelines.
* Assisting the Regulation team with planning for and coordinating significant submissions including the Annual Statement of Compliance.
* Attending and taking minutes at the monthly internal Regulatory Compliance Board.
* Attending internal incident meetings on a regular basis to develop your knowledge and understanding of events and keep up to date with regulatory news and correspondence.
About you
You will have good communication and interpersonal skills that will allow you to develop strong working relationships with regulators and internal and external colleagues to ensure we are providing the information required to support Cambridge English's ongoing compliance with the regulations.
As a highly competent user of the MS Office suite, you will be confident with undertaking a variety of administrative tasks, including minute-taking, drafting presentations and report compilation. You will also demonstrate a commitment to developing your knowledge of new platforms as required for regulatory tasks.
You will be able to organise, prioritise and time-manage your work and be familiar with project management and time management principles.
Along with your ‘can do' attitude, you will be willing to discuss and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Regulation team and will show a commitment to active learning.
