Responsibilities: Oversee all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality completion by our field-based maintenance team Provide task planning and forecasting to maximise efficiency and resource use Act as the escalation point for property management-related cases, offering expertise and support Maintain a detailed understanding of property issues, proactively resolving complex situations Manage landlord and supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations and cost control Ensure compliance requirements are met across all properties and documentation is up to date Lead and develop the Property Management Team through effective line management and resource planning Conduct performance reviews, create development plans, and oversee recruitment and training of new team members Collate and submit payroll information and produce timely management reports Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position or relevant transferrable skills Extensive property management and facilities knowledge, including up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal obligations related to building management Excellent communication skills Precision and attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines Ability to work on own initiative and autonomously Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills The ability to work within a team Self-motivated and hardworking with drive, ambition and enthusiasm Strong IT skills - literate in internet browsers and Microsoft Office - you will be trained in additional systems such as OSCAR and Sugar CRM Benefits: up to £45,000 (dependent on experience) 31 days holiday ( an additional day each year) 5-night stays in Portland’s London apartments Portland Birthday Perks Training opportunities Private Healthcare Mental health support Critical Illness Cover Annual Flu Jab & Eye-test Company socials Benefit enhancements each year you work at Portland Charity match fund At Portland Brown, we occasionally use alternative titles for our advertised roles to ensure they appeal to a wide range of candidates.
