Job overview
You’ll be supervising the ESR transactional function of the team on a daily basis and providing support to the HR Hub Team Manager in the delivery of qualitative, accurate and timely ESR transactional services to the Trust and its external stakeholders. Experience in a supervisory role is essential.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with the team and internal/external stakeholders.
You will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring a high level of accuracy and be able to run and manipulate reports. Microsoft packages knowledge/experience is essential.
Main duties of the job

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Knowledge, Experience & Training
* Evidence of continuous professional development particularly in relation to ESR system knowledge, acquired through pro-active self-learning, relevant training, or experience.
* Experience in a relevant high pressure, customer focussed transactional HR environment.
* Significant knowledge and understanding of ESR functionality including work structures, and other HR/IT systems with associated interfaces to ESR. Acquired through additional training or equivalent experience. Good working knowledge of current relevant HR and payroll practice and legislation, workforce information provision requirements.

Education & Qualifications
