Receptionist - Part-Time Afternoons
Central Edinburgh-based | fully office-based role
Temp role for at least 2 months | potential for extension & may be made permanent
Part-Time role | 12:30pm to 5:30pm | Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)
Monday 6th January start
Pay rate up to £14.00 per hour + holiday pay
Search Consultancy are currently working with a well-known business in Central Edinburgh to recruit for a Receptionist to cover afternoons in the office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive Reception & Administration cover each afternoon, 5 days per week, on-site in their Edinburgh based office.
Duties involved in this role will include:
1. Dealing with incoming calls & visitors to the office
2. Acting as liaison point for staff and visitors who have enquiries, issues or require assistance
3. Maintaining up to date records of departmental employees contact details
4. Acting as an initial point of contact on H&S issues that may impact the safe operation of the building
5. Monitoring the cleanliness and safety of the public areas of the building
6. Responsibility for closing the building at the end of each day
7. Various other ad hoc Reception & Administration duties as directed
In order to be considered for this role, your skills & experience should include:
1. Previous experience in a Reception role - this experience is ESSENTIAL
2. Solid IT skills including the use of MS Office
3. Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
4. Strong organisational and time management skills
5. Self-motivated and able to work well within a team
